The Money Attracting Challenge: Day 9

By Anne Bellamy, Author of Using The Law of Attraction To Help The Universe Help You

On the evening of Day 8, I sat in my living room and watching the rain fall in my backyard.  We've had several rainy days here in the last week, give or take, so I'm wanting some nice sunshiney weather....it's July for pete's sake!

So, instead of negatively thinking "oh crap, I'm sick of all this rain" I thought "I would love a nice sunny summer day.  That would be great.  I can feel the warmth on my skin, I'd wear shorts again, people will smile more.  I'll do a load of laundry and dry it in the glorious sunshine"  A smile came upon my face as I thought of my nice summer day.

Fast forward to the morning of day 9, I awoke to find the sun breaking through the clouds.....even though it wasn't in the forecast!  It's supposed to be rainy again, but you know what?  The sun has been shining ALL morning.  I'm wearing shorts again.  My laundry is drying outside.  I've smiled a lot today.  Now, I'm not saying I'm completely responsible for controlling the weather.....or am I? Okay, yeah, I am!  It was me! Me Me Me Me Me!  (big smile on my face)  It feels great to feel so powerful!

So great that I find myself smiling, for no particular reason:  Correction:  For no particular cause. There is a reason: It's Happiness.  I'm happy.   This morning, while working out, my boyfriend came downstairs and said "Why are you smiling?"  Because I'm happy!

The Money Attracting Challenge: Day 8

by Anne Bellamy, Author of Using The Law Of Attraction To Help The Universe Help You

On Day 8 of this challenge, one thing that I've noticed is that I am paying attention. I'm sure it's the fact that Chauncey wants us to journal our experiment on a daily basis.  Journalling, or blogging in my case, forces me to sit down everyday and review the day's events.  Doing this is made much easier when I pay attention throughout the day, to thoughts and events that are happening.

Like the lady who cheered me on during my run the other day.
Like the guy who stood in front of me on the walking tour, until I practiced pivoting.
Like the affirmations that I say to myself on a daily basis.....because of this challenge!

The fact that I'm noticing changes happening has tremendous value to me.  By noticing them, I can now appreciate them, and say "Thank you Universe, I appreciate that!"   Appreciation is so important when trying to manifest anything good in your life.  The more you show appreciation for a thing, the more the Universe will send it your way.

Now, I'm gonna go to my Appreciation Notebook, which I have created specifically for this challenge, and list the things in my life that I appreciate :-)
