Meditating in Small Chunks

Yesterday I watched a video posted by my Twitter friend Ryan Biddulph, on the benefits of meditation.  Have a look:

Boy, do I know what he means when he says we get caught up in day to day activities, like "gotta pay that bill".  I can relate when he says we get so obsessed with getting by, that we forget to live.  I've certainly been guilty of this.

Although I've been meditating for a few years now, there are some days when I just don't get around to it.

Well I can't use that excuse now that I have a Round Tuit.

I watched this video exactly when I needed to.  The Universe was giving me a nudge.  Time to get my meditation on!  And I've decided to follow Ryan's suggestion and try to meditate for 5 minutes every hour.  My main concern is that I will simply forget.  But I do work better when I have a schedule.  So every hour on the hour is my target.

Thanks for watching the video.  It spoke to me, and I hope it speaks to you too.

p.s. I may not have been in a Cambodian jungle, but I did relish the peace and quiet of the forest I was in yesterday morning while blackberry picking :-)
