Your Spirit Guide and Quiet Meditation

Accessing your spirit guide is something that absolutely every single one of you can do.  You need not be gifted, or special or "chosen" to connect and communicate with your guide.  You all have the power within yourselves.  It is just a matter of tapping into it.  Allowing it to flow and allowing yourself that connection that your spirit guide so wants with you.

The easiest and most effective way to do this is be quiet contemplation, or meditation.  Sit quietly with yourself and breathe deeply.  Try not to think of anything but your breath at first.  Then, once you've taken a few deep breaths, start thinking about what it would be like to communicate with  your spirit guide.  How would that go?  What questions would you ask?  Would it be male or female?  Does it have a name? How would it respond to your questions?  Would the answers pop into your head?  Would you be able to do some automatic writing?  Or will the answer be shown to you as soon as you open your eyes and pick up the nearest newspaper?  Answers are everywhere, after all.

This quiet contemplation of your spirit guide and how s/he works will result in calling forth your guide.  Remember, the more you focus on a thing, the nearer you draw it to you. Focus on your guide, and it will appear.  It's always there, by the way.  It doesn't answer your call, as such, it merely becomes visible or apparent to you.  Like opening a door and seeing someone already standing there.  Your guide wants to communicate with you.  It wants to help you.  It's there to do just that.  So, go ahead and ask it any question you want....and I mean anything.  Don't be embarrassed, because it already knows the question before you ask it anyway.  It's a part of you, remember?  As you ask, so shall you receive.  Listen to the answers your guide provides to you.  Look out for signs.


Become intuitive by being aware of your surroundings. Look for the answers and you will find them.

Do not be afraid of your spirit guide.  It knows a few things about you that you may have forgotten.  It knows that you are:


Not so scary is it? Go on and meet your spirit. You'll be thrilled that you did.

The Power of Forgiveness

You are this very moment living in a world full of rage, hatred and anger.  The world that you have created is swirling with negative emotions every single moment of every single day.  It is a dangerous vortex to get trapped into because of its pulling power.  It is so easy to slip into these feelings and for them to gather strength and send you on a vicious ride of negative emotions which net you nothing but pain and sorrow.

Do you know there is a way off this ride?  So many people don't realize this.  So many people think they are trapped.  They are however only as trapped as they allow themselves to be.  Many times  you have heard about the power of gratitude,I'm sure, and it is a powerful emotion, but what I'd like to share with you today is the power of forgiveness.  If someone "wrongs" you, what is your first reaction?  Many times it's anger, frustration, resentment, and thoughts of revenge.  The old "I'll show them" thought pattern.  The more you plot revenge, the bigger that chip becomes on your shoulder.  Next thing you know, it's now a boulder!


It's awfully difficult to carry a boulder around, wouldn't you say? It's not very healthy for you either.  The more resentment you feel towards someone, the more negative feelings you surround yourself with.  You are hurting yourself far more than the person who is the target of your anger.  Here's a tip for you: let that person deal with their own issues, for if they've done something that "wronged" you, then there are two likelihoods:

1. They weren't aware of it.
2. They were aware of it, and therefore are carrying around their own boulder. 

Don't carry someone else's boulder for them.  Your job here in this life is to live in Happiness, and it's your responsibility to attain that Happiness.  But you will never be Happy until you learn to forgive.  In practical terms, here's how resentment will hurt you.

Let's say you have a boss who you can't stand.  He's done something (again!) that infuriates you.

That embarrasses you, that makes you look silly in front of your colleagues.  The angrier you get, or rather, allow yourself to get, the more you think about what made you angry in the first place.  The more you think about that anger, the more you attract to yourself situations which bring you anger. And then the whole cycle keeps repeating itself over and over again.  Wouldn't you like to break free of that harmful cycle?  Well, you can!     

The very best thing you can do for yourself is to forgive.  Remember, taking revenge out on someone else is focusing on them.  Learning to forgive someone, is focusing on You.  It's telling the Universe "I'm letting this go. I won't carry this around.  I free myself right now."


And do it!  Really do it!  You will feel lighter, Happier, and more in control of your life.  The Universe likes that!  The Universe will respond to that.  You will feel free much more often.....and that leads to the ultimate goal: Happiness.
So, for the sake of your own Happiness, forgive.

Love, Meditation, Spirituality and The Universe.

If you are at a point in your life where you are desperately looking for something, for someone, for anything to inspire you, to move you, to motivate you, then look no further that no yourself.  For all the resources that you will ever possibly need are within you.  All you need to do is know how to access them.  For many of you, this remains a mystery.  For thousands and billions of you, it remains elusive.  It really is so simple.
It is as easy as 1, 2, 3.

1. Find a quiet space where you can be alone with yourself spirit, your inner voice.

2. Breathe deeply, in and out, in and out. Focus on nothing but your breath. Feel at ease and relaxed.

3. Feel the love within you welling up. Imagine yourself being filled with love and then radiating that love out to the rest of the world.  Start small.  Radiate it out into the room you are in.  Then send it out to the rest of your house, your neighbourhood, you city, your country.  Cross oceans and deserts. Imagine your love transcending above all else, travelling at the speed of light, reaching all corners of the Universe.  Send it out to your family, and friends.  Send it out to those people in need.  Send it out to everyone! It will get there.

 When you practice this special meditation, those feelings of love pulsate through you and make you feel at one with the Universe.  Those vibrations of love let you know that you are remarkable, wonderful and great.  You have a lot to give this world.  You will receive so much more when you do.

Whatever it is that is your soul calling, being singing, writing, teaching, doctoring, flying, anything, that which is your calling will be brought to you through your own feelings of love.  Share them with the world, the Universe and they will come back to you.  Practice this meditation daily and you will see the world full of love.

A Simple, Yet Powerful Little Truth About You and the Universe

Your emotions are your guidance system. Whatever you are feeling is a direct indication of whether or not you are in alignment with who you really are.  What do I mean by that?  I mean your Soul Work.  What are you here for?  What goals to you want to accomplish in this life.  How do you want to go about it?  Listen to that little inner voice that says YES! whenever something excites you.  Follow that feeling. When you are feeling Happy, Joyful, Loving, Grateful, or any other positive emotion, you are leaning towards who you really are. Those good feelings are the Universe's way of saying "Yes! You're on the right track.  This is who you are!"

Conversely when you're feeling negative emotions like hate, anger, jealousy, sadness, depression, the Universe is still trying to give you a message.  That message is "This is not who you are.  This is uncomfortable.  This doesn't fit." When you think about it, isn't that a great system?  Doesn't that give you the utmost hope? So, if you are feeling upset over your financial circumstances, do you know what that really means?  It means the Universe is saying " but you're Rich! Why are you feeling poor? Get out of this space immediately!"  Isn't it comforting to know that your negative emotions are the Universe's way of saying that, in fact, you are the opposite of what you are feeling? That must mean the Universe knows you are:

Abundant in every good way
And a million other wonderful things....

To me, that's a very comforting thought.  I recommend you remember that the next time you are feeling down.  It's the Universe's way of saying "Chin up! You are better than this!"  So, why not listen? You well automatically feel better when you realize this simple, yet powerful little truth.  You are SPLENDID!!! And The Universe knows it.

Claim Responsibility for Your Own Happiness

Do you want a happy and fulfilling life?  Most of us do, but many of us don't know how to get it.  Deep down many people don't realize that they have the power to create their happy life.  They think that they are the victims of fate or destiny: that bad luck just knows how to find them.  Guess what?  They're right.  Not because it's true, but believe they believe it's true. If you think that Happiness will forever avoid you then it will

 That's the reality that you are bringing into your life.  If you want to make a change, then start with yourself.  I know how corny that sounds, but bear with me. If you believe that you were destined to be poor, then you will be letting opportunity pass you by.  Those who believe that they are worthy of Happiness, and who have made the decision to be happy, will have those opportunities come knocking on their door. If you see a beautiful red sports car and think "I'll never have one of those" then the Universe will give you exactly what you believe: The experience of never having a red sports car!  If you don't believe you can have it, then you won't think about having it, owning it, driving it.  You won't come up with ideas on how to attain it.  You will just stare at it with resentment and your thoughts about it will confirm your reality.  If you want to stay like this, then have fun riding the bus.  

If, however, you realize that YOU are powerful and creative, then take responsibility for your thoughts and see yourself behind the wheel of that car.  Feel the wind in your hair.  Believe it can be yours.  Take the wheel and steer your thoughts in the right direction. Godspeed.

Exercise Your Mind, Like You Would Your Body

It's a New Year, and while many people have made the resolution to lose weight by exercising the body, not as many people have resolved to be happier by exercising their mind.  While it is important to have a healthy body, it is even more important to have a  healthy mind.  Instead of going for a run today, while not sit down and have some meditation time?  Simply sit, close your eyes and count your breaths.  Take a time out.  Relax.  Then, when your ready, start another fun exercise with the mind: Visualization.  Picture yourself how you want to be, and feel it happening to you.  Do you feel a smile on your face?  Even, perhaps a little teardrop falling from your eye?  That is the power of visualization. Your mind is believing what it is seeing, what you are telling it to see, and your emotions are corresponding to that.  Plant those happy visions in your mind.  When you believe it, you will feel it and when you feel it, you will see it.

Take Control of Your Thoughts for a Happier Life

You have the power to create the life of your dreams.  You have the power to train your thoughts to bring all your desires to you.  Remember always, that what you think about is what you live about.  Your thoughts are powerful messages being sent out to a Universe that loves you.  This Universe is more than happy to send you all those dreams you wish would come true.  However, The Law of Attraction is set up so that the Universe can only bring you that which you think of.  The Universe is on your side, always! The Universe feels your pain, your joy, your sorrow, your regret, your happiness, just as you do.  It only makes sense that it wishes to experience more joy and happiness, just as you do.

The Universe wants to be happy, but in order for this to be so, You must be Happy.  Send Happy thoughts out to the Universe on a regular basis.  Do it with purpose, on purpose.  Train your brain.  Control your thoughts.  Reach for that better feeling.  See the humour in any situation.  Feel the love.  Choose the better feeling emotion.  You always have a choice on how to react to events and people in your life.  Choose reactions and emotions which serve you and raise your vibrations to a higher level.  Take responsibility for your emotions and reactions and thoughts. It is a cop-out to say that you can't help how you feel, or that you can't help what you think.  You're just being lazy!  Give yourself more credit and more power.  You will always be in control.  You can always bring joy into your life.  You can always be Happy.  Realize this, and choose it for yourself.  I promise you'll thank me for it.
