How To Silence That Negative Voice Inside with Powerful Daily Affirmations

by the author of Using The Law of Attraction To Help The Universe Help You

Daily affirmations are a powerful way to manifest the health, wealth and relationships you desire.  Several people use ones like:

I am worthy
I am confident
I am successful
I am abundant
I am beautiful

and while these are all very good to use, many people get stuck with the "I am-ness" of these statements.  Telling yourself "I Am Worthy" often times releases that little voice in your head that says "no you're not".
You know the one I'm talking about.  We all have that little voice.  It's a bugger, isn't it?  It completely undoes all the good work that affirmations can do for you.

That's why I want to share with you a little trick I use in my daily affirmations.  Instead of leading them with "I am"  I start all my affirmations with "I like to feel...."

So, here's how I do it:

"I like to feel worthy"  => little voice can't argue with that
"I like to feel confident => little voice can't argue with that
"I like to feel successful => little voice can't argue with that
"I like to feel abundant => little voice can't argue with that
"I like to feel beautiful => little voice can't argue with that

And while I'm repeating these affirmations to myself, before I know it, memories pop up of a time when I did feel worthy, confident, successful, abundant, beautiful, and I bask it in.  I soak in all the memories and let the good vibrations take over.  The more I do this, the more I begin to move into the "I am-ness" feeling.

I am worthy.  Yes!  Now I feel it!

Try and let me know if it works for you.

  1. Ooooh...that's a cool little technique, Anne. Thanks for sharing that. It's amazing how we can find something our little head voice can't argue with and suddenly, we're achieving the results we'd desired.

This technique is really helpful in relationships, too. In communication in relationships, it's so important to use verbiage such as this: "When 'abc' happened, it made me feel 'xyz'" Of course, it is up to our partner to acknowledge our feelings as valid. From there, it makes it a lot easier to discuss real issues in relationships.

Thanks for this great tip. I'm going to try that.

  2. Thanks Steve! I especially like to do this when I'm having "one of those days". Works like a charm!

Thanks also for the relationship advice. Will use it in future!

    Thanks again :-)
